Christmas Charity

Thanks to everyone who donated knitted items to the Montgomery County Christmas Store! I know Devon already posted this pic on our Ravelry page, but in case you didn't see it, here's some of the things that we all made.

We have another project coming up that Sussi will present at this month's meeting (Saturday the 17th).

Hi!

Hello, this is Rachel, your new NRVKG Secretary. I'll be doing the blogging here and I wanted everyone to know that I'm planning on revamping the blog. Changes, they are a comin'.

For example, you should be able to sign up (over there on the right) to get the blog either in your feedreader or as an email. I'm also working on some other organizational-style changes in format. I'll have a few polls about fun things that I've seen other knitting guilds doing, or new ideas that we want to try out.  Keep your eye on this space!

If anyone is interested in doing guest posts, let me know.  I'm planning on this really taking off after the holidays.

Next Meeting July 2nd 10am at Mosaic

Be sure to attend our second meeting at 10am, July 2nd, at Mosaic. Our premier newsletter will be an enewsletter in the future to save paper, but we will be handing them out at the meeting. In this newsletter, you will hear from our President, and read about our Indy-dyer David Simpson, where he came from and where he is going. You'll also get some great free patterns. Let's plan our new charity event knit-along! See you there!
